Making your makeup stay on your face all day!


The Myth most girl abide is hair spraying your face... researchers say this doesnt work, cloggs up your skin and it ends up lying on your lungs if you breathe it in too much! Scary Huh! 


The better options are moisturisers and primers :)


Apply moisturiser to your face 10 mins before application 


before applying ANY foundation or concealer apply a facial primer- MAC prep + prime (this is the one that I use and I love it!) There are lots of different kinds to suit all skin, just ask a sales person in the store

primer for eyes (i.e, eyeshadows): Urban Decay primer potion ... I have not yet used this as I am a MAC 

lover but it is voted number 1 so worth a try

eyeliner that stays on and wont smudge: I personally love and think MAC Fluidline eyeliner is the best and it doesnt budge when I use it! However L'Oreal HIP cream eyeliner is voted the best stay put eyeliner ( just above MAC fluidline eyeliner)

We all love a good lipstick! & no matter what colour we all have the same nightmare of reapplying it all night... Don't you just wish someone would make a lipstick that stayed on all night ....?

WELL!

I HAVE FOUND A TRICK!

Ice cubes..... yes ice cubes! Once you have put your lipstick on and it is all perfected, get an ice cube and put it on your lips and make sure you cover every part! this will prolong the colour on your lips and result to less reapplying and ending up with lipstick all over your face when your drunk :) 

TRIALED AND TESTED = IT WORKS 

Great trick especially for red and purple lipsticks :D

How can people be sooo mean! 

Talk about a fashion heist.

Last night news broke that the entire Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2012 collection had disappeared in transit...

And it seems some light-fingered individuals are to blame.

Every single runway sample, which amounts to 46 pieces in total, are now at large after going missing whilst being transported from Paris to London for the brand's press day.

The MJ PR team sent out this email to inform the editors who were due to peruse the pieces at the MJ store in London

getting ready for bed and realise you have no makeup remover! you will be safe if you have a pot of vaseline in your room.... YES vaseline! Vaseline has many uses and one I have recently discovered is removing your makeup! and guess what! it gets every bit of mascara off.... I actually think I might start using it instead! MAKE SURE to rinse your face with cold water after and remove it all so it doesnt clog up your pours!

anyone got chapped lips off the cold weather? well heres another use for vaseline! get a toothbrush and put vaseline on your lips. Gently rub your lips with the tooth brush, wipe it off with tissue and walahhh silky smooth lips :D

OMG I WANT THESE, feathers in hair!

You know when you see something that you know you have to try? I have been looking for something new for my hair and I don want anything too drastic .... I think this might be it! available at a company called Feather Ray.

Lacing yourself in tan, getting to the next weekend and being left with a cracked orange mess that you cant get off and you need a new perfect tan for the new weekend. I battle this every week and could never find the perfect thing to remove my tan without making my skin red raw..... until last night. Spent this weekend raising money for a good cause!

I started off my saturday night celebrating my friends dads life at a charity night for Cancer Research UK. The even was amazing & I am very proud of laura for organising such a great night. She has managed to raise sooooo much money for the charity! Well done Laura xxxx <3
